Ipods in School

I think that they should be freely allowed during free blocks
Such as:
            • Studyhalls
            • Advisement

I agree with that but heres my problem. I don't have an Ipod, I have an expensive cell phone that does the same thing so would they have to allow cell phones too? I wouldn't think it's fair because your allowed to listen to your Ipod but I can't listen to my cell phone.

I totally agree i think i cant do my work with people talking to me and doing stuff around me! so i think when i listen to music its just alot easier.

I agree too. Mp3 players would be really nice to have in study halls and advisements when you are done with your work and have nothing else to do. I always listen to music while I'm doing my work at home.

I think the reason they don't allow us to is that they think that we would sit and listen to music rather that study and get our work done. Also, I know in other schools around the country, kids have been caught cheating on tests because they were listening to their Ipods during the test, which they had recorded notes on to there, and were using that to cheat. That might be another reason why the school would be hesitant to allow us to.
